Who are we? We are an Irish owned family business, founded in the heart of Kinsale, on the site of the original Kinsale Fish market. It was here in the picturesque and world famous fishing village, perched on the South Coast of Ireland overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, that inspired our owner Jim O’Mahony and family to name us – Kinsale Bay Food Company.
What we do? We are a niche gluten free food producer crafting the finest gluten-free products with an Irish, quality taste. Our products have won several awards. Indeed, this year we won 3 awards at the Free From Food Awards; Gold for our Mushroom soup and subsequently Silver for our Cottage and Shepherd’s pie. We pride ourselves on using only locally sourced ingredients. Since 2014 we have found our home from home in Little Island, but we remain loyal to our roots.
Why we do what we do? Here at, Kinsale Bay Food Company, we remain passionate and committed to producing a wide range of gluten free products, that adhere to the highest standards.
Our owner, Jim O Mahoney, had a vision to produce products, that were not only healthy but also which didn’t compromise on taste. As he says himself;
“Being gluten free doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice on quality or taste, and our products represent this.”
Where? All our products are hand prepared in our Cork based production kitchen by our talented team of cooks!
